Cold Room installation for local food suppliers
INTRO: Jones Food Solutions provide a complete food-service operation, supplying their customers with a full range of ambient, chilled and frozen goods. Jones Food Solutions encompasses a 58,000 sq ft depot in Midsomer Norton. First and foremost they provide a delivered service operation, which also provides a cash & carry service from the same premises providing a one stop shop, carrying a vast range of products for retail, catering and licensed customers. With such a vast amount of stock, Jones Food Solutions decided to compliment their existing suite by investing in an additional freezer cold store.
SPEC: To supply & Install 1 x Bespoke Freezer Cold Store
DESIGN: During the design stage, we highlighted the inefficiency of the existing cold room equipment throughout the site and provided Jones with a solution to this; to remove all individual condensing units and replace with one large, energy efficient refrigeration pack. This would result in unprecedented electrical savings for the company whilst also preventing an upgrade of their mains electrical supply, providing them with spare capacity.
